HAPPY HOLIDAYS CHARLOTTE WOODCARVERS!

As the Holiday Season approaches I hope we all can take time to visit with family, friends and neighbors. Please remember the men and women who protect this great country. We are the home of the free because of the brave. Finally, remember the reason for the season. Let’s all be kind and tolerant towards others.
We have had some very interesting programs presented at the club such as Rod Gatlins’ carved faces, Neil McGuires’ chip carving, Bill Dominics’ painting and Bubba Mullis’ alcohol ink finishing technique. Many thanks to Marcy Chirdon for coordinating the programs. I know she has several more lined up for next year. If you have any ideas for programs you would like to see please contact Marcy through the club website.
happy holidaysThe Holiday Party was very successful with over 60 participants. Thanks to Judy and Bill Dominic for their help in making this an enjoyable event. Thanks to all who attended, for bring the delicious side dishes and for the generous support of Loaves and Fishes.
The 2020 Show is fast approaching and I would like to encourage all Charlotte Woodcarvers, that haven’t done so, to please complete your Show registration as soon as possible. This Show is the main feature for the Charlotte Woodcarvers to showcase the art of woodcarving and it is the primary source of funds that enables the club to function. The Club needs the support of each and every member to maintain the quality show that the public and other carvers have come to expect.
Do things for people. Not because of who they are or what they do in return, but because of who you are.
