Catawba Valley Woodcarvers Club
"The Catawba Valley Wood Carvers Club is located in Hickory, North Carolina. The club meets every second Thursday at the Hickory store location of "Klingspor's Woodworking Shop" at 856 21st Street Dr. SE (on Sweetwater Road). The meetings start at 7 p.m. and end about 9 p.m.."
Dayton Carvers Guild, Dayton Ohio, was founded by a small group of men and women who share a love of carving and sculpting wood.
James River Woodcarvers
Club members meet every Thursday from 1:00-4:00 PM at the Woodcraft store for open, group carving. This weekly carving event is open to all. Carvers work on projects of their choosing and with so much talent in the room it is a good place to ask for advice.
New England Woodcarvers
Chet Card of Everett, MA and Gene Matheson of Ipswich, MA were invited to exhibit woodcarvings on April 15, 1964 at the Houghton Library in Lynn Massachusetts. Several people who attended the exhibition teamed up with Chet and Gene, this small group would grow into the NEWC.

Oglebay Woodcarvers Guild
In November 1975, three men from Wheeling, West Virginia, found themselves driving to Steubenville, Ohio, to attend meetings of the Steubenville Smoking Woodcarvers Club. These men -- Bob Ligglebeck, Bill Zimmerman, and Irwin Zimmerman (no relation) – decided the monthly trip to Steubenville was not as fun as it had once been, and so they decided to form a local club.

The Pee Dee Woodcarvers Club is a group of individuals promoting the ART of Woodcarving to the interested Public.
Piedmont Wood Carvers Club (S.C.)
Carving throughout the upstate of South Carolina. Formed in 1988 in Greenville, South Carolina, our mission is to provide support and education for anyone interested in the art of wood carving. The club hosts weekly carve-ins and a monthly meeting. Our annual ‘show and competition’ is normally held in the fall each year.

The Western North Carolina Carvers are comprised of artisans at varying skill levels and ages who gather monthly to participate in carving, training sessions, and good fellowship with other local carvers.
